In honor of Gun Violence Awareness Weekend, we come together to honor the communities shattered by gun violence and unite in our call to end gun violence and raise awareness for the issue. Every day, 120 people are shot and killed in this country and hundreds more are wounded.

As with almost everything we do, we count on our members and Board to make things happen for Grandmothers. And this is a great opportunity with summer traffic starting. We can bring awareness to gun violence prevention weekend as well as remember those who are gone from us through senseless gun violence.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP!

WE NEED HOMEMADE BAKED GOODS!

Pies...cookies, bars, rolls, scones, (maybe two things?)

Nothing that needs refrigeration. Please ask your friends and family to bake as well - you don't need to be a member to contribute!

When does it need to be there?

Please deliver by 10:00 on June 6 (Saturday) to the location above.

Labeling if possible: Please label the item with what it is and if there are nuts or allergens.

(We will also label onsite.)

HELP US PROMOTE THE SALE!

Help us spread the word by putting up 8 x 11 posters anywhere possible (post offices, dry cleaners, churches, libraries, etc.) sharing the poster graphic on social media and telling your friends and family.

We will have posters printed and ready to hang or you can print them off our home page soon. POSTERS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE AT MAY 6th MEETING.

If you can pick up posters, email waldsonthecape@comcast.net with date and time and we can leave them out for you.

HELP WITH SET UP OR CLEAN UP!

Many hands make light work. If baking isn't your thing, we can always use help with set up, pricing of food and break down. Set up is 9:30 am.
