The Reproductive Rights Task Force of First Parish Brewster Unitarian Universalist Church will be screening Preconceived, an important documentary about anti-abortion centers. Justine Hand from Reproductive Equity Now and Jess Cisternelli from Health Imperatives will join us for a panel discussion after the film! Please join us and support reproductive care on the Cape!

Preconceived sheds light on how anti-abortion centers often deceive and manipulate pregnant people while they are trying to make personal decisions about their reproductive lives and futures. The film exposes the coordinated national anti-abortion network and shares the stories of several women who have been impacted by these facilities.

NOTE: A portion of the ticket sales will go to the nonprofit Health Imperatives, Hyannis which offered medication abortions in the early weeks of pregnancy until its Medicaid funding was pulled recently, a victim of the "Big Beautiful Bill." https://provincetownindependent.org/news/health/2025/08/27/federal-officials-defund-health-imperatives/.

A portion of the proceeds will also go to The Reproductive Equity Now Foundation, which focuses on research and public education about equitable access to the full spectrum of reproductive equity and abortion access throughout New England.
