"Roe" is a play by Lisa Loomer that explores the complex and controversial topic of abortion through the lens of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case. The play focuses on the experiences of Norma McCorvey(the plaintiff known as "Jane Roe") and her lawyer, Sarah Weddington, in the years before and after the 1973 decision. It delves into the personal journeys of these women, as well as the broader societal polarization surrounding the issue of abortion.
